    Good place for children. Everything is ok but patients should wait for Long time. But not at all days.

    One of best hospitals in the entire NE for child specialist services. They have a great team doctors and clinicians with advance NICU & PICU facilities. The Environment is Neat & Clean.

    I came to visit my parents in Guwahati and got stuck due to the rise in the number of cases across India.
    My son was not feeling well, I asked my friend to refer me a Ped. The Dr. is highly reputed in Guwahati and seemed to be good so I decided to go and see him in his clinic in Pratiksha. So the appointment I got is at 2pm, and I arrived at 1:30 pm to finish off the formalities and registration process. Am being told that I have to wait for 2 more hours as the doctor arrived half an hour late. So I asked the reception/assistant to him why am not being informed that I will have to wait 2 hours to see a Doctor?
    The room is filled with people/parents with their infants some younger than one month/just born and children of all ages. During the pandemic I do not agree to the fact the management is not taking care on the number of people in the room should be. Mind you! It’s a child care clinic- and the most famous in entire NE.
    So coming to the point, how they take appointment- so I go to the nurse and Doctors appointment schedule- Doctor has advised them to take appointment after each 5 mins. So a patient who has taken appointment at 2, then there is another patient at 2:05 and so on. That’s how I got to know how the time was mismanaged by the doctor. I was told by the nurse that it’s my turn now and am the next one to enter in. I told the doctor humbly the condition of my son who is 11 months old and was seeking his consultation after that I told him to address the issue of mismanagement of patient registry to which he says’ this is India’ and you live abroad “stay there” etc and those terminologies which I didn’t expect it from a Doctor and that too loudly banging on his table asked us to leave the room and rejected to see my son. He harassed me, my infant son who is 11 months old and my husband. He almost came to assault me and my husband.
    Doctor name is Partha Pratim Borah- Pediatrician & Neonat consultant in Pratiksha. Doctor does overbooking of patients and has very bad attitude. dont ever go to this doctor and hospital
