Overview
Blood Bank of Marwari Hospitals has started with Blood Component Separation Unit. It organises voluntary blood donation camps at regular intervals in the hospital premises by different voluntary organization.
Collects & stores blood of different blood groups including some rare groups also. Processing & screening of these collected blood is done to eliminate various blood borne diseases in order to provide safe blood to the recipient. Blood bank provides round the clock service. Apart from meeting the requirements of the hospital,it also provide its services to other hospitals in the city. Thalassemic patients are provided blood with 50% rebate in the screening charge & the voluntary blood donors are provided blood without any exchange of blood on production of appreciation card given by our hospital.
The blood bank is headed by Dr. Satya Narayan Sharma as Director and assisted by Dr.Tarun Bikash Dutta, Medical Officer along with a team of trained technicians.
