Happy Child High School (Sr.) & (Jr.) Guwahati

Happy Child High School Guwahati established by Mrs. Nirmal Aggarwal on 13th January, 1980 with the aim of rendering quality education to all motivated and inspired by concepts of catering to needs of all round development of students. Happy Child High School is a recognized private co-educational institution affiliated to Secondary Board of Assam(SEBA).

The objective of the school is “Learn To Serve”.

a. (Pre-Nursery to KG)

b. Primary Section (I – IV)

• Unit Test/Surprise Test/Oral Test/Projects throughout the year
• Parent Teacher Interaction
• Half Yearly & Annual Examination – which focused on interact & skill of the child

c. Middle Section (V – VII)

• The syllabus for academics is divided which comprises Unit Test/Surprise Test/Oral Test & Half Yearly before Summer Vacation (July)
• Which is followed by Unit Test/Surprise Test/Project/Final Examination (Nov – Dec)

d. High Section (VIII – X)

• Evaluation is done on basis of Unit Test/Projects/Oral Test/Half Yearly/Annual Examination
• Specially for X, Pre Test & Selection are part of SEBA Guidelines.

PROMOTION PATTERN

School follows the promotion pattern of SEBA guideline, where 30% from Half Yearly, 20% from Unit Test and 50% from Annual Examination is taken as evaluation basis.

Admission

FEE STRUCTURE:

The admission to the school is done in the month of December every year. Admission is open for classes Pre Nursery and Nursery only. In case of availability of seats admissions are done in higher classes. Admission for the Pre Nursery and Nursery is done on the basis of interview with the student and interaction with the guardian. Admission for higher classes is done on the basis of written test followed by an interview. In the written test the students will have to appear for English, Mathematics, Science, Hindi/Assamese for Higher Classes. No Admission is done in Class X.
