In the early 2000’s, Dr. Aashaa Bora, a woman of substance established a resort and built a reputation for their delicious dishes renowned for mouth-watering taste. Soon the resort become one of the famous and ideal places for leisure and get together. In the year 2007 Resort was declared as- “Green Wood Resort Pvt. Ltd.” under Dr. Aashaa Bora. The Greenwood Resort’s reputation continued to grow for almost two decades.

Dr. Aashaa Bora born of a Sri Lankan father and a Khasi mother, she became a lady entrepreneur by creating a place for herself in the world of business twenty-two years ago by opening the first pharmacy in Guwahati that offered services 24×7. Through her hard worked and zeal she converted the farmhouse at Khanapara, that her father-in-law gifted her along with the land, into the renowned Greenwood Resort today which was the tremendous goodwill that she enjoys with people from various fields that help her through crucial stages in the development of her business.

Greenwood Resort restaurants developed a significant reputation for offering generous portions of scrumptious, well-prepared foods and, of course, Greenwood Resort’s irresistible confectionaries.

Today, we have nine restaurants. Building upon the popularity of our great food and our emphasis on great service, we continue to expand and test new ideas to serve our customers better.
