Overview
St. Xavier’s College came into being in 2001 in order to facilitate the much needed ‘superior education’ along with ‘competence building’.

The College imparts education for the following courses:

R B.A. with Major & General Course : Three-Year Degree Course (TDC)
With Major in English, Economics, Education & Political Science.
The college follows the curriculum of Gauhati University. Subjects offered for these courses are as per the Syllabus of the Gauhati University
R Class XI & XII (Higher Secondary first year & second year)
The college follows the curriculum of Assam Higher Secondary Education Council.
The college, keeping in mind the future prospects of students, has picked up some important subjects which address the areas of study that are relevant and useful in terms of further education and employment.
