Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra founded as a part of the Assam accord of 1985 and completed during the chief ministership of Sri Prafulla Kr Mahanta, is inaugurated and dedicated to the Nation by the Hon’ble President of India Shri K.R. Narayan on 9th November 1998. The Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra foundation stone laid by Sri Bhisma Narayan Singh Governor of Assam in presence of Sri Prafulla Kr Mahanta Chief Minister of Assam on 2nd February 1998
