The School of Nursing, Satribari Christian Hospital is one of the oldest School in the North East Region. It was started on 26th October 1926 by Miss. Milli Marvin, a Missionary Nurse. With the (05) five Students the school was started. From this small beginning the Nurses Training School has grown, with the out-turn of graduates regularly annually.

The School of Nursing is recognised by the Assam Nurses’ Midwies’ and Health Visitors’ Council and the Indian Nursing Council. It offers the Diploma General Nursing and Midwifery programme with an annual intake of 20 students. The School of Nursing has well-qualified teaching faculty.

The School of Nursing, Satribari Christian Hospital believes that the programme is designed to help students in their personal and professional growth and development, so as to enable them to, make their maximum contribution to the society as individual citizens and nurses and to develop pride in their profession.
