Its 20 kms from Guwahati Airport, 2 mins walk from Railway Station and next to are located all the important Bus terminal Shops Market etc.Hotel Geetanjali Started its Business in the year 1994 with only 9 rooms with a period of 1 year started another 18 rooms providing business as well as Leisure Travelers. Then in the year 1998 there was a huge demand for accommodation in this locality. So, the Hotel thought of expanding its business as there was a huge demand for such from the Tourism sector.So, in the year 1998 the Assam Financial Corporation approached the Hotel and with their help another 46 rooms was constructed and completed by the year 2000. So the number of rooms and its volume of Business started growing rapidly according to the demand the Hotel expanded its business by vacating shops and residential areas located in the mezzanine floor & ground floor, thereby adding to property another 23 rooms which has now stands total of 87 nos. Not to forget it has added to its property a Bar that serves chilled beers and Indian made Foreign liquors (IMFL). The restaurant which serves mouthwatering Indian, Chinese, Continental and Tandoor dishes round the clock.
