Christian Literature Centre: Premier Religious Book Store in Guwahati, Assam

Christian Literature Centre (CLC) is a distinguished literature ministry under the Council of Baptist Churches in North East India (CBCNEI). It serves churches by publishing and distributing Christian books. Established with the mission of spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ in various languages and dialects, CLC continues to pursue this vision, reaching every community within and beyond the CBCNEI family.

Publication and Distribution of Christian Literature

CLC not only publishes books but also collaborates with various Christian publishers. This collaboration ensures that churches and their members have access to biblically grounded Christian literature. The goal is to provide sound doctrinal resources to assist in ministry and daily Christian living. The desire is for churches to have a strong biblical foundation supported by good Christian books.

Encouragement of Local Authors

CLC serves as a platform where local authors are encouraged to share their God-given talent. Authors can write biblically and theologically sound books that glorify God. This effort aims to produce more tribal context theology books and other Christian literature, supporting the growth of churches.

Printing Services for Church Materials

CLC extends printing services for various church-related materials. These include songbooks, hymnals, vernacular Bibles, brochures, church diaries, souvenirs, and programs. Recently, CLC started providing school materials such as books, stationery, uniforms, and copier machines through CLC Enterprise.

Vision and Mission

CLC envisions becoming a Life Transforming Biblical Resource Centre for churches under CBCNEI and beyond. The commitment is to promote and encourage Christian literature that is biblically grounded in all dialects and languages. The mission is to publish and distribute books in print and media forms. Local writers are encouraged to use their God-given gifts to write doctrinally sound, biblically grounded works. CLC partners with other Christian publishers to meet the needs of churches and provide balanced, contextualized Christian materials.
