Assam Air Products Pvt. Ltd was incorporated in the year 1986 in the state of Assam in India by a technocrat entrepreneur educated at the IIT Delhi, University of Rochester (USA) and London School of Economics & Political Science (UK). The company is co-promoted by Government of Assam. The first manufacturing plant of the company at Sivasagar, Assam for Liquid Nitrogen and Oxygen gas for the oil companies operating in the region went on stream in 1988. Since then it has consistently grown to become a leading Industrial Gas manufacturer and oilfield service company of India. The products and services of the company are well accepted by National Oil companies, Refineries, Armed Forces, Railways, Leading Hospitals, Research Institutes and others.

Assam Air Products is a single source provider of full range of Industrial and Medical gases sourced from own manufacturing plants, across India and even from abroad. It has a team of experienced engineers to work with customers to solve any problem related to Industrial gas application.

In 1996, Assam Air Products started its Oilfield Services division. The company specializes in Natural Gas Compression, Mobile Air Compressor services, Coil Tubing Services, Nitrogen Pumping and Fluid Pumping.
