Primus was established in the year 2002 with the sole purpose of providing world class healthcare service in the field of radio-diagnosis & imaging and pathology and has completed 10 years of its existence.

At the primary level, the centre started with .2 Tesla MRI, Single slice CT and host of other imaging equipments. Within a short time, the centre was able to gather confidence of the people beyond Northeast India and thus concurrently Primus was able to replace the existing machines with apparatus having advanced and superior quality. In any medical establishment with the sophisticated machines one needs quality doctors and paramedical staff, Primus at a total of 10 experienced doctors including radiologist, pathologist, Biochemist thrived to and continues to provide quality services to the people.

At present the centre is equipped with MRI Machines (3 Tesla & 1.5 Tesla), 128 slice CT scan, and two high end ultrasound machines, x-ray Mammography, Cone Beam CT etc. The Department of Radio diagnosis and imaging from its inception, continues to play an important and significant role in the overall health care and Primus offers a surfeit of radiology services to ensemble every need.
